Dana Lee Kim

Dana Kim is a sophomore studying journalism and public health at Syracuse University, expected to graduate in May 2029. As a content producer at WAER, Dana helps produce digital and radio stories.

Prior to WAER, Dana was a contributor to Youth Voices at the Oregonian and has bylines in The Daily Orange and The Asian Reporter. 

Dana is passionate about the intersection of health and public policy, especially related to chronic conditions and diseases. She’s also willing to cover (almost) anything and everything, from hard news to cultural stories. 

Outside of journalism, Dana loves rock climbing, reading historical nonfiction, and singing with her friends.
