Jacob Berr
Content ProducerJacob Berr is an undergraduate studying Political Science at Maxwell and Journalism at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. He is expected to graduate in May 2029. As a content producer working at WAER, Jacob helps produce digital and radio stories for the station. He contributes regularly to the Civics 101 program under WAER's CNY Decides franchise in partnership with the digital magazine Central Current.
While working with WAER, Jacob also helps out behind the scenes at Syracuse University's Citrus TV.
Prior to his professional career, Jacob was a Garden State Scholastic Press Award-winning high school journalist at his Southern New Jersey High School and became co-editor-in-chief of the paper during his senior year of high school.
