Grupo Pagan Highlights CFAC Jazz and Wine

Grupo Pagan

The Community Folk Art Center in Syracuse has been an established cultural epicenter of Central New York since its founding in 1972. This Friday evening, the CFAC is opening its doors and offering the community a chance to engage with and support its mission. In partnership with Syracuse Public Media WAER, the Folk Art Center is hosting An Evening of Jazz and Wine Tasting to wrap-up a month-long celebration of jazz appreciation. The event will feature the well-known talent of the locally based Latin American band, Grupo Pagan.

The relationship between the Community Folk Art Center and WAER describes the cohesive, collaborative nature of Syracuse's art scene. Moreover, Grupo Pagan exemplifies all of the excitement and passion of a vibrant Syracuse music scene. The evening is intended to both honor a rich cultural landscape and make a commitment to preserving its future.

By purchasing a $25 ticket, community members lend their support to the creative mission of the CFAC. Patrons will have the opportunity to view the current gallery exhibits, taste unique wines from the New York State region, and enjoy an inspired performance by Grupo Pagan. A silent auction will additionally take place to benefit the Center's programming and events.
