Talkback: Ep 12- Reunion

This week, Talkback hosts a reunion for the class of 2018. Host Cooper Boardman chats with three recent Syracuse and WAER alums about their last few years and what it's like to be two years out of school in the middle of a pandemic.

Evan Stockton is a play-by-play broadcaster for the Syracuse Mets and at Western Michigan University. The Michigan native has worked in three Minor League Baseball organizations over the past few years—he shares his experiences on the road and why he came back to the Salt City.

Maura Sheridan is the voice of the Lynchburg Hillcats, High-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. In addition to two years in the minor leagues, Maura is the play-by-play broadcaster for the University of Vermont women's basketball team. She explains how she came back home to Burlington for her first job and what it's like to be a part of the UVM program.

Jake Marsh is the Sports Business Reporter for Barstool Sports' Pardon My Take, the number one sports podcast in the country. Over the last two seasons, he has also been the voice of the UVM men's hoops team. Jake details the internship experience that helped him land a full-time job with Barstool and what it's like to call a run to the NCAA Tournament.

Talkback is a WAER Sports podcast produced by Karl Moeglein. This week's episode features reporting from Gill Gross and Marcus Gronauer.
