  • Bob Beck, a veteran media professional, currently serves as a part-time editor/host at WAER Public Radio and an adjunct professor at Syracuse University. Beck retired as News Director at Wyoming Public Radio in 2022 after 34 years. During his time, Beck won 5 regional Edward R. Murrow awards and 5 Public Media Journalists Association awards for reporting. He also won 11 PMJA awards for the news and public affairs program Open Spaces. She's had over 20 years of successful experience developing new business ideas, forging partnerships with local businesses and organizations, and securing revenue-generating opportunities for WAER. Jennifer works diligently with clients, developing impactful media campaigns to accomplish their strategic goals while raising financial support for the station. She appreciates the close interaction and cultural awareness WAER provides - locally, nationally and globally. Jennifer has been a contributing member of WAER Public Media since 2003 and is a strong believer in the important role the station plays in making Syracuse a great place to live and work. She is a graduate of Cazenovia College.
  • Diane Orson is CT Public Radio's Deputy News Director and Southern Connecticut Bureau Chief. For years, hers was the first voice many Connecticut residents heard each day as the local host of Morning Edition. She is a longtime reporter and contributor to National Public Radio. Her stories have been heard on Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Weekend Edition and Here And Now. She is the co-recipient of a Peabody Award. Her work has been recognized by the Connecticut Society for Professional Journalists and the Associated Press, including the Ellen Abrams Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism and the Walt Dibble Award for Overall Excellence.
  • Adelina Lancianese is the assistant producer for the NPR Story Lab, a creative studio that fosters newsroom experimentation and incubates new podcasts.
