Jermain Loguen

Doctor Sarah Loguen Fraser, daughter of the Underground Railroad, went on to earn her medical degree in 1876 and became Syracuse University Medical College's first African-American women doctors.

Reverends Loguen and May, and others were all instrumental.

The corner of E. Genesee and Pine Streets served as the center of the Underground Railroad in Syracuse, with Jermain Loguen serving as station master.
