More than 95,000 drivers were issued warnings during the 60-day trial period.

The cameras went live over a month ago, and more than 60,000 drivers received speed warnings in just the first two weeks. The warning period ends Oct. 31.

All of them received a warning in their mailbox. Fines start going out Nov. 3 when the 60-day warning period ends.

They’re trying to catch speeders, red light runners, and those passing school buses.

Syracuse Common Councilors agreed to opt-in to a state program that permits the cameras and enforcement program.
