After 10 months of negotiations, the region's largest urgent care provider and CNY's largest health insurer reach an agreement over reimbursement rates.

WellNow Urgent Care and Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield are working to end a months-long dispute.

Drakos will accept patients of all ages at its Cicero location starting Feb. 5. They will also accept Excellus BCBS insurance, which is no longer accepted by the WellNow Urgent Care chain.

Excellus CNY members will now pay higher rates and fees if they want to use WellNow.
