Onondaga Community College will offer two new programs in the spring. OCC will add a Laboratory Science degree and an Automotive Technology certificate program.

The Laboratory Science degree will teach students strong data analysis and laboratory skills that could transfer into SUNY Upstate Medical University or another other four-year institution. In the Automotive Technology program, students will learn automotive services and repair skills, and students have the option in this program to enter the workforce after one year.

“Both of these new programs present our students with valuable options in industries where workers are in-demand. Automotive repair facilities across Central New York are in constant contact with us as they look for the next generation of technicians,” said OCC President Dr. Casey Crabill. “This new Laboratory Science program will give students the skills they need to join that as part of medical science, medical research, the development of new cures, vaccinations, and all of the groundbreaking work being done right here in our region,”

Full time tuition at Onondaga Community College is $2,545 per semester.
