Thursday August 16th, 2018 is a day that will weigh heavy on the hearts of music fans for quite some time. That was the day that we said goodbye to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. Over the years her music touched countless lives and inspired generations.

WAER General Manager Joe Lee sat down with Syracuse Jazz Fest Founder Frank Malfitano to discuss the legacy of the late Aretha Franklin.
