Pop Life: Launching Into Space Force

Boots on the moon.  That is the ambitious goal of the fictitious Netflix comedy series, Space Force, starring Steve Carrell.  The workplace comedy series centers on a group of people led by General Mark Naird (Steve Carrell) who is tasked with establishing the United States Space Force, the 6th branch of the United States Armed Forces.

To get better context on the newly formed branch of the armed forces and how it informs the creative process of the Netflix series Space Force, Pop Life host Joe Lee chats with Aerospace Industries Association President and CEO Eric Fanning.  Throughout his career, Eric Fanning served as Secretary of the Army, chief of staff to the Secretary of Defense, and oversaw the Air Force Space Command as acting Secretary and Under Secretary of the Air Force during the Obama Administration.
