1885 SACRED SITE OPEN HOUSE
1885 SACRED SITE OPEN HOUSE
Our building, built in 1885 by its St. Paul's M.E. congregants, was designed by famous local architect Archimedes Russell with Keck/Worden stained glass windows. Our in-depth research led to fascinating stories about the church's founders, our neighborhood, and the individuals whose names grace the windows. Self-directed and guided tours, information tables, and trained docents will be available throughout the free event. And at 12 noon Natalie Dadaris, Town of Onondaga historian, will speak about early 1900s life in the Valley.
NOTE: our church home is not (yet) handicap-accessible.
Later at 7 pm, Unity players will perform our 4th installment of the Readers Theatre ($10).
