Ever wonder what edible plants you pass when out for a walk in the woods? Or what useful herbal medicines may lay hidden in your backyard?

Join Heather, aka The Botanical Hiker, for a guided plant walk here on the grounds of the beautiful Great Swamp. During this hands-on program, learn how to identify nutritious and medicinal plants, and how to harvest and prepare them for food and home remedies. During the walk, Heather will guide the group in harvesting some plants, which we'll then bring back to the kitchen to prepare and sample.

The walk will be easy in nature. No tools required.
