New York Attorney General Letitia James says top e-cigarette and vaping companies are targeting underaged youth.

For that reason, James has filed a lawsuit against 13 major manufacturers, distributors and retailers for their role in the youth vaping epidemic.

She says highly addictive and illegal flavored vapes are getting into the hands of underaged youth lured by social media ads targeting young audiences.

James says she’s seeking hundreds of millions of dollars including financial penalties for violating a number of state and local laws.
