Gas prices steady in Syracuse, averaging $3.06 a gallon

Syracuse gas prices remain lower than the state average, with national prices also holding steady, according to AAA.

Gas prices in Central New York have stabilized, with the average price in Syracuse holding at $3.06 per gallon.

AAA reports that’s four cents below the New York State average. Nationally, the average price remains unchanged from last week at $3.15 per gallon.

Higher gas demand is being offset by lower crude oil prices, helping keep prices steady.
