Charlene Nomeny is a dedicated journalism student at Syracuse University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast and Digital Journalism, with a prospective minor in Global Security Studies. As a Fall 2024 Media Fellow with the Washington Media Scholars Foundation, Charlene is gaining valuable insights into media and public policy. At CitrusTV, she contributes as a writer and reporter for "Unpeeled," showcasing her storytelling skills in broadcast journalism.

Charlene also volunteers as a journalist for Syracuse's NPR affiliate, WAER, where she reports on trending local news and community-impacting events. Beyond reporting, she has also interned in social media marketing, where she enhanced audience engagement through content creation and SEO optimization. Charlene’s proficiency in tools like Premiere Pro, ENPS, and Canva supports her passion for multimedia storytelling. She is also part of the Renée Crown University Honors Program, demonstrating her commitment to academic excellence and professional growth.
