Central New Yorkers converted toy rooms, dining rooms and kitchen tables into offices during COVID. More than 30 percent of U.S. employees reported some form of teleworking amid the pandemic. But with COVID concerns dwindling and public health policies lifting, many employers are calling their workers back to the office. Newly examined data shows the select industries that are making a permanent jump to remote work. Tarryn Mento explores the nature of remote work for both employees and employers.
