Mayor Sharon Owens held Mayor's Ball Saturday night at the Museum of Science and Technology. Elected as Syracuse's first black mayor, Owens shared vision for the city's future to hundreds of attendees.

On Monday, SUNY ESF staff and professors welcomed 40 soon to be ninth graders to their "Summer of Science" week. They'll be taking a total of seven trips this week to explore the environment and potentially, their future careers.

On April 9, the museum plans to open its revamped IMAX theater and planetarium with major improvements.
