Volunteer JournalistHannah Beam is a dynamic journalist at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, pursuing broadcast and digital journalism with a minor in Spanish. Her media journey began early, with four years of dedicated experience as a reporter and producer for her high school news station.
At WAER, Syracuse's NPR station, Hannah continues to develop her multimedia storytelling skills, producing compelling digital and radio content. Her multilingual background, complemented by her Spanish minor, positions her to bring nuanced perspectives to her reporting.
With a strong foundation in media production and a passion for storytelling, Hannah is committed to creating engaging narratives that inform and connect audiences. Her experience spans high school media and now extends to professional-level reporting at a distinguished NPR affiliate.
