Newhouse Master's student Chris Fiegel wanted to find a way to help people with the advanced media design he was learning. His past included a family struggle with a severe brain injury, and work in a clinic that did research on concussions and other Traumatic Brain Injuries.
On this episode of Newhouse Impact, Fiegel explains how he used his multimedia design education to create Bridge Concussion, a web portal for information about brain injuries, treatment and research. He designed the service using agentic AI for athletes, veterans, caregivers and others to find specific, evidenced-based information on TBI's. The project - and his journey - could serve as models for other ideas, including his future as a communication's doctoral student.
