An Upstate New York native, and SUNY Oswego alum, Kristina is excited to be a part of the WAER team! Returning home after 3 years in Burlington, Vermont, she brings her experience in news producing to her Digital Content Specialist position. Kristina manages WAER’s social media platforms, and guides students through content creation and analytics.

Natasha Senjanovic teaches journalism at the Newhouse School. She has guided student journalists at WAER and created original reporting for the station.

Patrick McCullough is a graduate student studying Library Science at Syracuse University. He is expected to graduate in May, 2026. As a former student contributor at WAER, Patrick produced digital and audio stories.

Cora Thomas, affectionately known as “Syracuse’s First Lady of Gospel,” is a lifelong Syracusan and proud mother of 3. As Syracuse University’s WAER Office Supervisor and a gospel radio broadcaster, she has dedicated her life to uplifting her community through faith, music, and service. Her involvement with organizations such as Syracuse University’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, Syracuse Stage, Westcott Festival, Syracuse Orchestra and the Juneteenth Festival reflects her commitment to unity and cultural celebration. As Ancestral Celebration Chairperson, she honors the rich heritage of the African American community and fosters collaboration between local faith leaders and government officials such as Mayor Ben Walsh and Onondaga County Executive J. Ryan McMahon in addition to others.

Anthony Barney, WAER's Content and Operations Manager, ensures smooth programming delivery and talent coaching. With a bachelor's degree from SUNY Oswego, he's a seasoned communication specialist skilled in non-linear editing, customer service, communication, camera operation, and public speaking. Anthony's career spans roles at ESPN, including associate director, showcasing expertise in breaking news and digital communication. His journey includes service in the United States Air Force and educational experiences at SUNY Oswego and Onondaga Community College.
