Facing breast cancer means different things to different people.  That was the mission of – and the takeaway from – the production of TitBits: Breast Cancer Stories in which 8 people share how they were affected (listen below).  Patients, doctors, caregivers all recount personal and emotional details of their stories.  Excerpts of the production aired on WAER as an episode of Syracuse Speaks.

Breast Cancer affects a lot of lives in a lot of different ways.  That’s exactly what a local production of entitled Tit-Bits: Breast Cancer Stories is trying to show.

As local theatre fans continue to flock in for shows in the current Syracuse Stage season, it's never to early to think about what's coming next. This week on The 315, Joe Lee and Kevin Kloss chat with Bob Hupp an Kyle Bass from Syracuse Stage about their 2019-20 lineup of shows.

Their season follows the theme, "Voices Live in Light". We asked them what that theme means to them, what makes this upcoming season special, and we talk about their selection process.

Syracuse Stage’s newest play tells a fascinating story of an Underground Railroad escape to freedom, here in Central New York 180 years ago.  The main character in the new play Possessing Harriet made contact with important historical figures, while her story resonates with issues today.
