Gun buyback in Syracuse offers up to $750 for firearms

The state attorney general’s office is investigating the death of a man in Oswego County who was shot after an altercation with police.

John Sarcone III has been appointed as the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of New York, succeeding Carla Freedman. He will oversee federal prosecutions across Central and Upstate New York starting March 17.
