Prior to his career in journalism, Ben spent time as an actor, stuntman, viral marketer, and press secretary for a Member of Congress. He graduated from UCLA in 2005 with a degree in theater and from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism in 2012. As a reporter, his work has been featured on NPR, WNYC, the BBC, and Public Radio International.

Megan has been a journalist for 25 years and worked at business weeklies in San Antonio, New Orleans and Albuquerque. She first came to KUNM as a phone volunteer on the pledge drive in 2005. That led to volunteering on Women’s Focus and Weekend Edition, the Global Music Show - and her job first as Morning Edition host and now All Things Considered host - fulfilling a long-held wish to learn radio.

Evan Fay is an undergraduate at Syracuse University, majoring in Broadcast and Digital Journalism and Religion. Beyond his work at WAER, Evan is a morning entertainment talk show host for WJPZ Radio. He has also hosted live shows for ESPN and worked in live sports broadcasting and production through the ACC Network.

Brooke Killgore is an undergraduate studying Broadcast & Digital Journalism at Syracuse University, expected to graduate in December of 2026. As a content creator at WAER, Brooke helps produce digital and radio stories.
